In addition to holding, a Postgraduate in Inclusion and Special Educational needs from The University of Birmingham and a Postgraduate in the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination from UCL I have also worked for a number of years as a teacher and leader within a number of state schools and additional provisions.
I am currently working as a SENDCo and Head of EAL within a large independent school where I am also part of the Drive Team supporting to lead the roll out of HPL. HPL has been the perfect pedagogical framework to support classroom adaptations, providing a common language to enhance our inclusive ethos across the school.
As well as working with HPL, I have also recently worked with UCL as part of a research project aimed at enhancing the experience of students on the National Award in SEN Coordination.
