In the next few editions of the update we shall be featuring examples of HPL in action in school. The first piece to be highlighted demonstrates the value of a proactive reflective culture. HPL schools are by definition very reflective communities. The piece shown 'here', written by Lee Hawkins of the British International School of Bucharest, as part of his reflective commentary for the HPL Teacher Expert Award, shows how a reflective culture can help further parent engagement and the visibility and understanding of the HPL framework in the school community.
