We are delighted to announce that International School of Nice and GEMS United Indian School, Abu Dhabi, has been successful in their accreditation and is now awarded the status of HPL World Class School.
Our Assessor was particularly impressed by the way HPL has been adopted in the International School of Nice – There has been an enormous amount of time and effort invested in overcoming all barriers to ensure that all learners and parents experience the benefits of HPL. The investment in colleagues and the strategic way that HPL has been placed at the heart of everything that ISN does is admirable.
Our Assessor was particularly impressed with how the HPL framework has been embraced by all stakeholders in the extended school community at GEMS United Indian School. Whether he was speaking to staff or students or observing a lesson or listening to a student presentation it was very clear to the assessor the transformative impact that HPL has had on GEMS UIS. We are exceptionally proud of both schools!

FGC Programme Round Up
On the 22nd October we were delighted to host a Guest Webinar with Ian Potter on Quality Systems Leadership. This thought-provoking session explored the notion of systems leadership and presented a view that it is more about systems thinking than commanding a large organisation. During the session Ian presented a model of leadership which focused on the importance of appreciating context and understanding perspectives, including reference to the thoughts of the Total Quality Management guru, Deming. Reflection on the power being aware of self was discussed and the role of reflexivity in such a process.
Thank you to those of you were able to join the session. If you were unable to attend, please watch the presentation recording here.
