🎉WCSA Induction at St. George's House, Windsor Castle 🎉
It was an absolute joy being back at St George's House, Windsor Castle to welcome our latest WCSA Cohort (LVS Ascot, St Benedict's School, The Sultan's School, Tudor Hall School and Carrdus School).

We kicked off Day 1 with a keynote by Professor Deborah Eyre, Founder and Chair at HPL where she presented the overview of the HPL philosophy and framework, its evidence base and its potential impact at the school level.

Delegates ended off the Day 1 with a lovely dinner at St George’s House, followed by a Private Tour of St George’s Chapel. In addition to the above, our latest Cohort had the privilege of witnessing the 'Changing of the Guards' on Day 2 of the WCSA Induction.

We are looking forward to you starting your journey and joining a community striving to unlock the potential of the whole school community. #EveryoneCan #HPLedu #WCSAInduction2024

🎉 Celebrating HPL Schools

Well done to students at Misk Schools' for making  history by serving as the first-ever student panellists at a #COBIS annual conference for school leaders in London. The students spoke so eloquently and with such pride about Vision 2030 and Misk Schools’ role in it that they received a standing ovation. We are thrilled to see our HPL students excelling. #EveryoneCan #Hpledu
Congratulations to GEMS Cambridge International School, Abu Dhabi on successfully leading the MOE MUN Launch for 500 learners from all the Emirates. Learners demonstrated their confidence, articulation, and adeptness in handling debates and answering. This is incredible. Let's continue embedding the #HPLSkills inside and outside the classroom #EveryoneCan
We are thrilled to congratulate Haileybury Almaty for being awarded as a COBIS Accredited Member (BSO)! We at HPL Central are celebrating with you! What an outstanding achievement!

📚 Resource Highlight

💡 Thinking Education

EEF blog: The power of people: Uniting a team for effective implementation - Freya Morrissey (2024)

This blog draws on a new review of the evidence to provide additional guidance about the social processes and behaviours that underpin effective implementation. The evidence indicates that poor implementation can often be traced to differing values, understanding and practices among staff. If the intended practice or change is not clearly understood, and if all staff involved do not understand their role within it, there is likely to be ambiguity or inaction because people do not understand the what, the how, the why, or the importance their small part has within the overall strategy.

Let us know what you're up to!

We love to see what our HPL Family is up to! If you have any resources, successes, initiatives or anything else you would like to share with the Global HPL Community make sure to submit them on HPL Online.

In uploading material for sharing, schools take responsibility for ensuring that they are copyright free.
