This update's Big Question by Mark Tomlins, HPL Central
How do the HPL competencies of the VAAs and ACPs look different in different subjects or will they look the same?
I have heard some conversations that suggest certain competencies or themes “fit” with certain subjects. However, all VAAs and ACPs are employed in all subjects but, I believe they will look different in different subjects.
What is your take on this Big Question? Do you have examples that demonstrate this?
Have your say in our Subject Communities Below.

It is thrilling to see students embracing HPL!
A Secondary student at GEMS Metropole School chose to dress as a HPL book for World Book Day. Journaling each of her learning strength in each subject. This is absolutely inspiring. #HPLedu #EveryoneCan

Knowledge vs skills: what do students really need to learn?
This is a short and simple piece about the Knowledge vs Skills debate. HPL is very much focused on developing those VAA and ACP competencies that will fit a student for life. After reading this piece and seeing where you are developing VAAs and ACPs with your pupils, you might want to join the debate in our Big Question, which this week asks "will these competencies look different in different subjects?"
